The Realm

The Realm, is the first theatrical dance performance that will use stereoscopic 3D to create a virtual environment for “live” performers in real-time; thus, adding a more cinematic element to live theatre; and in turn, adding an entirely new level of immersion for the audience.

SHOW SYNOPSIS

Detective Ferrett is looking for one final payday to get him out of the city when beautiful dancer Gia offers him the perfect case: protect her from her husband. Ferrett takes the job and tails his new client to The Realm, her workplace—a shady nightclub run by mob boss Sal Capriatti. It doesn't take long for Ferrett to find himself sucked into orbit around the dark stars of the city, juggling Gia, famous entertainers the laFontaine sisters, and a mysterious Black rose in his effort to leave it all behind. Before it's all over, Ferrett will find himself confronting the shadowy corners of his own past—and possibly Sal Capriatti himself, the King of The Realm.

THE REALM - DIGITAL PLAYBILL iPHONE APP

“The Realm – Digital Playbill” is the first ever, digital playbill providing live content, character art, photography, and video. It will also serve as interactive form of immersion for audience members. Prior to the show, users may browse behind-the-scenes video, artwork, and photos, plus look into the back-story of The Realm and its characters.
