Rachel joins the ADC after an extensive career with Nashville Ballet 2, the Alabama Ballet, and AROVA Contemporary Ballet. She has studied Revolutionary Principles of Movement with Wes Chapman and Cheryl Ale, based on the syllabus of Ruth Petrinovic, and Dance for Parkinson’s Disease with David Leventhal of the Mark Morris Dance Group. Summer break is over and school is back in session! The Alabama Dance Council welcomes everyone back to the studio and shares wishes for a fabulous season of dance.
One ADC member company has been working all summer on an upcoming performance. The Alabama State Council on the Arts will honor eight outstanding Alabamians at the “Celebration of the Arts” awards ceremony on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at 7:30 p.m. The event will take place at the Alabama Shakespeare Festival, located at 1 Festival Drive, Montgomery.
