An award-winning regional company performing both classical and contemporary works, the Alabama Dance Theatre provides professional quality performances to area audiences and excellence in dance training and dance education. Founded in 1986 by Artistic Director Kitty Seale, the Alabama Dance Theatre company consists of approximately 30 dancers including professionals. Dancers are selected from ADT’s school of more than 400 students and surrounding schools. The company performs three major productions each season and is an Honor Company in SERBA (Southeastern Regional Ballet Association), member of Regional Dance America.
