In May, Dance Theatre of Huntsville will present “The Lion King’s Tale,” a dance adaptation and interpretation of a classic favorite. Original dance choreography by Monique Ryan, Janise Fowler and Kathleen Arthur will depict the story of a cub who becomes king, and introduce you to the friends (and enemies) he met on the journey. Join DTH at Lee High School in Huntsville, Alabama on May 22 & 23 for this spectacular dance event.

Full of adrenaline and excitement, Dance Theatre of Huntsville’s dancers danced their way to a high – scoring weekend in Atlanta, Georgia on April 16th – 18th at the New York City Dance Alliance’s Regional Competition.This is the first time that Dance Theatre of Huntsville has entered into a dance competition.It was a pleasant surprise to hear Dance Theatre of Huntsville’s name called repeatedly among some of the best dancers in the region. - Dance Theatre of Huntsville, the school of Dance All Productions, Inc., a non - profit 501(c) 3 organization, began in 2003 out of a strong passion for music, dance and movement. Over the past seven years, DTH’s commitment to dance education and performance has inspired many to share in the empowering joy of dance. As with past dancical performances of “Hua Mulan: Dance of the Warrior Princess”, “Art in Motion”, “An American in Paris”, “Rockin’ the Gospel” and “Stormy Weather”, Dance Theatre of Huntsville continues to encourage audiences and students to appreciate the beautiful art form called dance.
Dance Theatre of Huntsville classes are a blend of technique and creative movement. Instructors skillfully structure improvisation and composition exercises for beginning and advanced levels, allowing students to express themselves creatively in a non – threatening environment. Classes are available for adults and children beginning at age 2 ½.
DTH also provides dance opportunities for students at Summer Dance Camp, Summer Intensive and during the spring and fall school breaks.
