'Tis the season to recognize accomplishments of students, artists, and everyone who makes it possible. It's also teacher appreciation week and Mother's Day, so let's thank them all!
Did you know that the Alabama Dance Festival hosts an annual audition opportunity for dancers, sixth grade and up, to connect with dance summer programs, colleges, and more? In fact, the 2025 Festival Auditions hosted 33 recruiting organizations! We'd like to congratulate dancers on the fantastic awards they've received as a result of these auditions and we can't wait to hear more.

Thirty five dancers were accepted to American Dance Festival this summer, and twenty two were awarded scholarships!
Eight dancers were accepted to the University of Alabama's BA Dance program!
Four dancers were given Summer Intensive Scholarships to Kennesaw State University!
Five dancers were accepted to Kennesaw State University's Department of Dance!
Multiple dancers were given scholarships to attend Gradient Dance's Exploration Lab!
