I am looking for approximately 5 dancers (ages 16 and up) to set a contemporary ballet piece on (very short, about 4:30 minutes). I am an up-and-coming dance choreographer and I would like to enter my choreography in several competitions. Dancers must be available on weekends. We will rehearse just 2 hours at a time. Since the piece is short we will not need more than 4 to 6 hours of rehearsal time. I would then record the piece being performed to submit to companies locally and abroad.
I am looking for dancers who are:
-Passionate (the piece will convey a lot of emotion)
-Technically trained in ballet
-Available weekends of 11/22 & 12/6
-Able to pick up choreography with ease. We will only rehearse for 2 hours at a time, so we'll learn the piece rather quickly
You will receive a copy of the piece to use at your disposal.
