Greetings Everyone:This is just a reminder that our classes will start on October 9, 2010 at Harrison Recreation Center In West End.There is a $20.00 registration fee that has to be paid on October 9th. Classes will meet twice a month in Praise dance ministry, West African dance and West African drum class. Dates class will meet are: oct 9th & 16, Nov 6th, 13th, Dec 4th, 11th.The full cost for all three is $30.00 per month or $10.00 drop in (but you must register first). This is a limited time offer after December fees will increase.Students who wish to audition for our touring company are encouraged to enroll in these classes now. Classes are taught on all levels starting at age 4 through adults.This payment arrangement was made to help with affordability as well as to meet the basic monthly business expense to keep this program running during these tuff times. To live is to Dance and to Dance is to live. We all want to keep dancing to the drum beat so we I ask that you please do your best to help support this wonderful and unique program that the city of Birmingham has to offer our children and communities. Our goal is to enroll 20 to 25 students this year to keep this program thriving. Please help support this goal by encouraging and telling others about our program. Coming soon is our "Essay scholarship program". We want to keep our children active, dancing and playing drums. If you know of someone under the age of 21 that can benefit from this program please have them to call the office and register for a free scholarship ASAP. Limited space. Our program meets the needs of low to moderate families, donations are always welcome.We will also have special $5.00 Tuesday night classes at J Lockhart Performing Arts Institute 240 Oxmoor Circle Suite 104 Homewood, Al 35209 Starting on November 2 through December 14, 2010. We ask that you register for this class through Nathifa Dance or through the J. Lockhard Performing arts program ASAP.
