Choreographed by the award-winning team that make up UA’s outstanding dance faculty, ARDT brings to life the many diverse dance styles now seen in concert halls throughout the world.  The music, spirit and rhythms of ethnic, pop, and traditional American fare are performed by a roster of talented and gifted UA students.  Whether it is a full-length production or a collection of vignettes, the Alabama Repertory Dance Theatre communicates the essence, ideas, and emotions of storytelling, with ground-breaking results, to an ever-growing audience on The University of Alabama campus.  This production includes the re-staging of There is a Time, originally choreographed by José Limón, and reconstructed by Clay Taliaferro.  The performance of There is a Time is presented by arrangement with the José Limón Dance Foundation, Inc. (http://limon.org) and is produced in accordance with the Limón Style and Limón Technique service standards, established by The José Limón Dance Foundation, Inc.
