August 11, 11:00am-12:30pm at Grebel Dance.
Audition Fee: $10
Audition attire:
Ladies: Black leotard, pink tights and pink ballet slippers. Hair secured in a bun and off the face. Pointe shoes for those on pointe.
Men: White t-shirt, black tights, white or black ballet slippers. Hair off the face.
The Alabama Youth Ballet Company is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the arts and educating students, and the community, in the art of classical ballet and dance. Membership is open to all students, ages 9 and up, who desire to dance and are willing to fulfill a one year commitment in the company, abide by the code of ethics of the AYBC and dedicated to working together. Under the direction of Stevan and Deborah Grebel, members are not required to perform, however it is an important part of the training curriculum. Auditions are only placement in the Junior or Senior Company. and not based on experience or ability. Each child receives individual attention according to their needs. There is a place for everyone!
