The Wright Center at Samford University seeks ten local dancers to participate in rehearsals and the performance Racine D'Or presented by Movement Workshop Group as a part of the Signature Series. The residency is October 27-29 with the performance on the 29th. Drawing from Cajun folktales and the diversity of Louisiana, Racine D'Or combines contemporary dance theater with traditional Zydeco music, blending Louisiana Creole French with American folk and blues to create a sound all its own.
