On Saturday, October 24, 2009, the Downtown Dance Conservatory and Etowah Youth Orchestras collaborate to present an original production based on the works of Edgar Allen Poe. With original music composed by conductor Michael Gagliardo and choreography from Linze Rickles McRae, tales include The Raven, The Tell Tale Heart, Annabel Lee, The Fall of the House of Usher, and others. Performed inside the historic Pitman Theatre in downtown Gadsden, artists performing include the Electric String Ensemble and the Downtown Dance Artists. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the Hardin Center for Cultural Arts or by calling 256-543-ARTS.
