Sponsored by Southern Danceworks, Dance for PD®'s acclaimed two-day introductory training workshop is designed to enrich, inform and inspire a diverse group of individuals who want to introduce people with Parkinson’s to the joys and benefits of a customized and creative dance experience. The hours are from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on 1/25/13 and 1/26/13. The Dance for PD® Introductory Workshop is open to trained dancers and dance instructors. Physical and occupational therapists, healthcare professionals, somatic movement practitioners, yoga teachers, carepartners and other movement teachers are also welcome to attend.
