Excessive Realness is a queer dance intensive geared towards members of the LGBTQIA+ community who consider themselves dancers or use dance as an expression for their own artistic practice. The intention of this intensive is to provide a creative arena to learn, share ideas, and engage in critical dialogue around dance, queerness, and the many other intersecting identities that people within these communities hold.

The intensive takes place at the Pam Miller Downtown Arts Complex in Lexington, KY, Tuesday June 26th to Friday June 29th, 2018. Classes begin at 10am on Tuesday and the intensive ends with a performance, called The SPILL, on Friday evening. The performance is free and open to the public. 8064347674?profile=originalThe intensive costs $150 total, plus a registration fee. This includes 12 classes, 3 roundtable discussions with artists, and priority seating for the performance. We have financial scholarships available. If you are in need of a financial scholarship, please contact us at Excessiverealness@gmail.com
