Unplugged 2018 Featuring "The Letter" in recognition of the Alabama Bicentennial

A world premier of a Civil War soldier's unwavering love for his wife and country with special guest Soprano Christie Weber.  In his now famous letter to his wife, Sullivan Balou (March 28, 1829 - July 29, 1861) endeavored to express the emotions he was feeling: worry, fear, guilt, sadness, and the pull between his love for her and his sense of duty to the nation. 

In addition to The Letter, Huntsville Ballet will perform new choreography to include songs from country music pioneer, Patsy Cline as well as a cutting edge contemporary work by local choreographer, Gina Guerrera.
