April 16-18: Join Huntsville Ballet for a mixed repertory performance featureing Peter and the Wolf, Big Spring Dreams, and Don Quixote Act II pas de deux. Peter and the Wolf is a captivating story ballet set to the well-known classical music of Sergei Prokofiev, who composed the score in 1936 to introduce children to the different instruments in the orchestra. Big Spring Dreams is an eclectic collection of vignettes of human emotion: love, inspiration, happiness, and hope, dedicated to the city of Huntsville and choreographed by Huntsville Ballet School’s own Gina Guerrera and HBC alum, Desmond Nunn.
