New students ages 8 and over with at least one year of ballet training who are interested in participating in the 2013/14 Youth Ballet Program must attend a placement audition prior to enrolling in the program. This program is open to all students ages 8 and up who have a love of dance and want to study more intensively. No previous dance experience is required. Students receive classroom training in classical ballet technique as well jazz, contemporary, modern and tap, with the major focus being on classical ballet training and performance. Students receive coaching in partnering and variations. Classes are small so that each student receives individual attention.
