The Alabama Dance Theatre will open its 35th “Season of Poetry” with Montgomery’s holiday production of “Mistletoe” which will be performed November 13th and 14th at The Davis Theatre for the Performing Arts. This year’s production will feature “Miss Kitty’s Favorite Dances of Christmas”, an audience favorite.
“Favorite Dances of Christmas” showcases a collage of dances set to beautiful Christmas carols and songs, with classics including First Noel, I Saw Three Ships, Sleighride, and Jingle Bells. "Mistletoe" will also feature new works Greensleeves, Boughs of Holly, and Coventry Carol choreographed by Sara Sanford and Santa Claus is Comin’ To Town choreographed by Janie Alford. Other favorites returning to the stage will include I'll Be Home for Christmas, O Come All Ye Faithful, and First Noel.
