Mobile Ballet, founded in 1987, is the premier classical ballet school and performing company in south Alabama. Our Summer Intensive immerses students in a rigorous and fun advanced training program to improve technique, strengthen individual abilities, and build confidence.
Students have the opportunity to enhance skills and broaden their dance experience by learning from our prestigious faculty and renowned guest instructors from around the country, with a broad range of classes including ballet technique, classical variations, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, musical theater, character dance, and more.
Along with Mobile Ballet's esteemed faculty, our summer guest faculty will include Orlando Molina, Madison Fendley, Alexey Kulpin, Kris Nobles, James Boyd, and more!
- Summer Intensive is a three-week program for dancers age 12 and up with at least one year of pointe training. Males must have at least two years of ballet training.
- Junior Intensive is a two-week program for dancers age 10 and up, male and female, with at least two years of prior ballet training.
- We are pleased to offer housing accommodations for out-of-town dancers age 12 and up through a partnership with University of South Alabama, which includes three meals a day, double-occupancy dormitory, and shuttle to/from our studio.
