staibdance is one of five Southern modern dance and contemporary ballet companies participating in South Arts' Momentum. Through Momentum, each company receives the support, mentorship, and networking opportunities necessary to redefine their approach to the field of presenting and touring. In this conversation, we will discuss staibdance's recent residency with the Alabama Dance Council, their time in Momentum, and how the program has helped shape their artistic choices. staibdance will be presented on January 20-23 by Alabama Dance Council and UAB's Alys Stephens Center at the 2022 Alabama Dance Festival.
