Sanspointe is looking for 20-25 community members to join them in presenting Dances Along the Line - a series of dances created specifically for Railroad Park. Performed by ten professional dancers and accompanied by a handful of musicians, Dances Along the Line will wind through the park from the amphitheater to the birch bowl in a 35 minute performance open and free to the public on April 10th and 17th.

Community participants will learn walking patterns and formations that will shape the performance and space in the park. Some will also learn simple choreography. No dance experience is necessary.

Commitment includes two rehearsals:
April 3, 8-10:30am
April 9, 8am-12pm

and four performances:
April 10, 2pm, 4pm
April 17, 2pm, 4pm

The open call on March 26th will include more information about the project. Please rsvp and direct questions to Shellie Chambers at shellie@sanspointe.org or 205-799-2602.
