the beat:Choreography Competition promotes the creation of new dance works and gives festival audiences the opportunity to fully experience the art of dance. Choreographers aged 18 and over may enter up to four original works from four categories: Ballet, Jazz, Modern, and Other.
Panoply awards the winner in each of the four categories $500 and the prize for Best Overall Choreography is $1,000.
