Make it Happen Theatre and Artsrus4u proudly presents"Precious Memories in Time: A Celebration of Our History". This production has come to a new Dimension as Instructor and Choreographer Mr. Henry L. Hearns jr., Ruth Randall and Jacquelyn Long of Artsrus4u and Alicia Johnson of Make it Happen Theatre presents a powerful display of the Memories that Blacks have persevered through from the past to the present dating back to when Blacks were Great Kings and Queens of Africa and people of Royalty.This riveting dramatization will be highlighted through various scenes of dancers, the Spoken word, and music with a cast that will portray Black history before slavery to the capture of innocent Black men and women who endured the slave ships, auctions, and hard labor, to the present time of Blacks living in America as a free people in this cultural society. This inspiring play goes beyond the imagination of its audiences and promises to be one of the greatest presentations in recent times. The show dates are April 16th, 17th and 18th at the Children’s Dance Foundation, 1715 27th Ct. S., Homewood, AL at 7:00pm, 7:00pm, & 2:00pm respectively.
