A new addition to the Birmingham performance by Jessica Lang Dance is a preview of Jessica's newest work, Thousand Yard Stare, which is based on Lang's talks with soldiers and research on post traumatic stress disorder at Walter Reid Medical Center. She shares these experiences in partnership with visual artist Larry Thompson, who will talk about his current exhibit at Space One Eleven, The Infanttree Project, exploring the aftermath of recent/current wars on veterans, their families, and contemporary society.
