June 27 Rhythm N Motion invites professional acting coaches movie and tv producers to Birmingham! The A.C.T.I.N.G Coach & Martini Shot Casting Ltd. Co. Presents... Audition Ready and Career Strategy with Acting Coach Cindy Hogan and Casting Director Rita Manyette This workshop will focus on how to work THIS market as well as prepare you for Los Angles and/or New York. We will cover head shots, resumes, interviews, marketing, agents, unions and SO MUCH MORE. Go through an actual audition process and see BOTH sides of the process. Rita Manyette, Casting Director Rita is an industry professional who possess a vast knowledge of acting, which is an invaluable asset as a casting director. Her company, Martini Shot Casting, is one of the most well respected casting companies in the Southeast. Cindy Hogan is a full time working actor and coach. For the past twenty seven years, Cindy has studied and worked as an actor, director, and producer. The last fifteen of those years, she has drawn upon her own experiences to coach and teach both the business and craft of the industry. The Screen Actors Guild and AFTRA named her Member of the Year in 1996 and1997 for her contribution to developing talent in the industry. While her own personal studies have included work in "The Method" and "Meisner", the direction of her own teaching is geared more toward the individual and their own best way of learning and working and not to any fixed method. Cindy‘s coaching has included working with networks such as NBC, ABC, and Nickelodeon as well as working with celebrities and developing talent alike. Her own credits include numerous feature films, a series regular on 4 network shows, several national and regional commercials, hundreds of industrials as well as voice over work.
