This 8-week summer session is designed for the dancer who has not yet had formal training, or has taken a break from dancing. This is fun, high-energy class combining modern and jazz dance technique will focus on body and spatial awareness, overall fitness, self-expression and performance skills.

Summer classes and camps are held at our Community Arts Center in Downtown Homewood. Registration will begin Monday, February 10th at 8:30 am. Bring or mail your completed and signed registration form to CDF.
Children's Dance Foundation dances with students of all ages and abilities in a creative, non-competitive environment at our community arts center in Homewood and at more than 20 social service agencies, child care centers and schools throughout Birmingham. Our dance classes and performances inspire all children, including the child who is homeless, very young, disadvantaged or at-risk, and the child who has special needs. CDF is a non-profit organization supported by generous corporations, foundations and individuals.
