The Joffrey Workshop, San Antonio, Texas is holding open auditions for 100 eligible students who are of high intermediate or advanced levels of ballet training. Birmingham Area Auditions Saturday, February 13th Alabama Dance Academy 3221 Old Columbiana Road 1:00-3:00pm Registration 30 minutes prior to each audition Audition fee: $25.00 per student - Cash only Regular class attire, bring pointe shoes. No photos or resumes needed. The Workshop faculty are former principal dancers with the Joffrey Ballet Company. In addition, we also have recognied faculty from other exceptional programs throughout the United States. Class schedules run Monday through Saturday and include daily ballet technique, pointe and men's classes, as well as contemporary, pas de deux, repertory rehearsals, lectures, dance appreciation, character dance, music for dancers, and career-related seminars. The Workshop culminates in a public performance of repertory works presented on: Saturday, July 17, 2010 at 11 a.m. & 2 p.m. Ticket price is $20.00 Housing, meals and all classes will be in San Antonio, Texas.
