Second Life – the 3D virtual world occupied by over 14 million people – is not just a way for people stuck in cubicles to while away their office hours. It’s also a surprisingly good tool for building audiences, expanding reach and engaging individuals differently. The National Black Arts Festival has successfully used Second Life to offer virtual concerts and to connect with audiences.
